Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Frankly. By creating an account or using account-based features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use Frankly.
Eligibility and accounts
Provide accurate information when creating an account, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use account-based features. By using those features, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Reviews and user content
You are responsible for the ratings, reviews, text, and photos you submit. Share honest, relevant opinions and only upload content you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful content, threats, harassment, private personal information, spam, or reviews intended to mislead or manipulate ratings.
Rights in content
You retain any rights you hold in your submitted content. You grant Frankly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the service. This license ends when content is deleted, except for limited copies retained in backups or where retention is legally required or permitted.
Community standards and moderation
Your use of Frankly must follow these Terms and our Community Guidelines. We may investigate reports, remove or limit access to content, and suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or our Community Guidelines, address abuse, protect users, preserve the service, or comply with applicable law.
Restaurant and third-party information
Restaurant names, locations, hours, menus, prices, ratings, and availability may be submitted by users or supplied by third parties. Information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Verify important details directly with the business. Frankly does not guarantee the accuracy of every listing or review.
Acceptable use
Do not manipulate ratings, impersonate others, harass people, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access. Do not use Frankly to commit fraud or violate applicable law.
Third-party services
Frankly relies on third-party services, including Supabase and Google Places-related services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to maintain Frankly, but the service may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Frankly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that cannot lawfully be disclaimed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Account deletion
You can initiate permanent account deletion through Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account in Frankly. The service is designed to remove your account, reviews, and associated uploaded photos after confirmation. If the request fails or you cannot access the app, contact franklybites.support@gmail.com for assistance. Deletion may be subject to limited retention where required by law or necessary for legitimate security purposes. Shared restaurant and hot dog listings may remain available to the community, and business-management access associated with your deleted account will end.
